It has been a while since the last update, and I assure you we have been busily working behind the scenes in Ovation Heartwood Preserve’s rebuild. I’m happy to have an update for you today.
Below are aerial and interior photos of the demolition of Ovation East. Viewing these feels a bit like rolling back in time when I look at the interior photos.
Belfor is continuing to take the fourth floor down by hand to ensure safety. They are ahead of schedule for the demolition of the fourth floor and will continue evaluating Ovation East for the scope of demolition. We can continue making concrete decisions as we learn more while debris is being removed.
Mold abatement is actively in progress through the south and core section of the building. This will continue for a while as it is a constant evaluation process.
We have ordered banners for the fence to showcase that Ovation West is open and to provide directional signage for parking.
Albert Castaneda, Chief Development Officer, and I look forward to receiving a general scope of work in early July. This report will assist us in determining a rebuild timeline.
We’re excited about this progress and look forward to restoring Ovation East to the beautiful building it was.
